Redi Knightz was born from a love of graffiti in the mid nineties. The original members, Con aka Porn Connery and DJ Mylz, chose the name following a commission to paint a banner for a Star Wars themed hip-hop and drum and bass night 'Tydirium' in Guildford and the name stuck.
Over the next few years, more heads joined the Redi Knightz clan producing music and art from Brighton to Coventy to Exeter, including DJ G-Petz and Just 1 from the Funk N Disorderly crew.
Now residing in Birmingham, Air Con and Air Mylz have reunited to combine their loves for reggae, hip-hop, funk and bass, launching with a series of reggae grooves mashed up with classic hip-hop vocals, the first of which has dropped on this compilation.

Con aka Conathan Ras has been creating music for many years, originally writing tearing jungle with his favourite Virus synth, and now focusing on reggae and dub, and more recently glitch hop and breaks. You can find more of his solo tracks at @redi-knights-1

Mylz founded Birmingham's most successful hip-hop and breaks night 'Heducation' and has been the main resident DJ there since 2001, warming up for acts including Public Enemy, Sugarhill Gang, DJ Yoda and De La Soul. You can check his mixes out at www.mylz.co.uk
